今日は先月の8月24日に発表された、PS5の背面ボタン付きカスタムコントローラを紹介していこうと思います！
最近、僕はApexをやっている時に、右スティックを操作しながら右側のボタン押すのやり辛いなと思っていたので、ボタンの配置を変えたいと思うときがありました。
あなたもそう思ったことありませんか？
ボタン配置を変えても操作のしづらさは変わらなかったので、結論としてボタンの数が足りないなってことになりました。
そこで、背面ボタンの付いているコントローラーを探しましたが、友人に公認のコントローラー以外は禁止されてるよと言われたので困っていました。
今までにもボタンが連打できるマクロ付きコントローラーや、背面ボタンがあるコントローラーはありましたが、非公認の物が多いのでApexでは使えませんでした。
ここでいう公認とはApex運営が使用を認めているコントローラーです。
明確な答えではありませんが、いい感じの質問を見つけました。
そんな時に、SONYから公式背面ボタン付きのPS5コントローラーが発表されたので買うしかないと思いました。
Apexはキャラコンが面白いゲームだと思うので、PADで出来るキャラコンを練習したいなら絶対買うべきだと思います。
コントローラーの性能
純正コントローラーとの大きな違いは主に6つあります。
- ボタンの配列を自分で設定できるようになる。
- スティックのデットゾーンや感度を個別に設定できる。
- トリガーのデットゾーンや感度を個別に設定できる。
- 上記の設定を保存しておき、素早く他の設定に切り替えることが出来る。
- スティックの入れ替えが出来るので、頭の部分の高さが変えられる。（スタンダード、ハイドーム、ロードームの3種類）
- 背面ボタンが付いている。
ボタンの配列を自由にできるので、ボタン配置が決まっているゲームでも、自分が操作しやすいように配列が変えれるのは良いなと思いました。
またPS5から決定ボタンは×になったので、慣れていなくて決定と戻るを間違えてしまう人には便利な機能かなと思います。
スティックとトリガー（L2,R2）のデットゾーン設定は、Apexのような反応速度が必要なゲームだとかなり重要な要素なので、コントローラー側で設定できるのは大きいと思います。
デットゾーンとは所謂車のペダルのあそび的なもので、深いボタンのどの位置まで押せば反応し始めるのかの距離のことです。
なので、デットゾーンを少なくすれば軽く触れただけでボタンが反応するようになり、逆に多くするとボタンを完全に押し切るまで反応しなくなるように出来たりもします。
ボタン配列の保存はFnボタンで切り替えが出来るようで、何種類か保存できると思います。
スティックは別売りの頭の形がちがう3種類を自分で組み替えることが出来るので、自分の指に合った形のスティックが見つかるかもしれませんね。
コントローラーでApexやっていて一番やりずらいのが、エイム操作しながらジャンプやしゃがみをやることですが、背面ボタンがあれば親指でエイム操作して、人差し指で攻撃ボタン、薬指で背面ボタン操作をしてジャンプかしゃがみをすることが出来るようになります。
僕はR3（スティック押し込み）をしゃがみにしているのでしゃがみはできますがジャンプはなかなかできません。
背面ボタンがあれば動きにジャンプを組み込みやすくなるので、背面ボタン付きのこのコントローラーが待ち遠しいです。

値段や販売時期はまだ公開されていませんが、モデルが出来上がっているので、年内には発売されるんじゃないかなと思っています。
